"Mad Men" won Best Drama and Jon Hamm won best Actor!
It re-airs starting Monday Jan 21st at 12am.
A horrible time slot, so tape/tivo/dvdr/or whatever other high tech thing you can do to record it:)
My cat Teela, (yes, the princess warrior from He-Man) was supposed to get spade yesterday. Unfortunately, her hormones over took her and she now spends the days, appearing to be on E, and trying to 'get it on' with her brother Clovis. He seems all for it, except he was fixed last year, so Poor Teela is left all hot and bothered. My livingroom has turned into the discovery channel 24/7......I really hope this ends soon because i don't want to have to yell: "Clovis, come on! Get off your sister. That's so inappropriate!" They grow up so fast!
I've a lot of both yoga and cooking in the last week. I signed up for the first week special at Laughing Lotus near Union Square and have been really happy with my experience there. I'm stretching parts of my body I didn't even know I had and it gives me an exhilarating high and exhaustion every class.
I have found some great vegan cooking sites that have kept me busy. I made yummy Vegan Blueberry Muffins with this recipe:

And Vegan French Toast with soy yogurt and fruit on top instead of syrup:

This was really delicious...sometimes i do miss my french toast, so this is a tasty alternative.
I've had a recent obsession with Split peas. I've been making them in my rice cooker which i find MUCH easier than on the stove, and throwing in sweet potato chunks, carrots, celery and some thyme and basil. I must say, I'm quite pleased with my split pea experiments.
Tonight I am going to make my own homemade English Muffins:

see, there are lots of things vegan's eat.....
