weekend
Saturday night Michael and I babysat for Rich and Virginia's daughter, the Bea. See here.
She was a joy as always. We played and gave her dinner...rice, and milk and then put her down....and then got her out cause she was doing that really deep 'end of the world' cry and I could bare leave her alone. Eventually, (and with coaxing from a phone call from her dad) I put her back to cry herself to sleep....:( Then Michael and I took advantage of cable, tivo, dvdr or whatever it is and watched tube rest of the night.
Sunday we woke up early and headed to the 2nd annual Clean Air Car show and Film Festival!
We saw a handful of all Electric Vehicles and some hydrogen fuel cell cars as well. The only EVs in our price range are the Miles EV ,
the Zenn, and the revolution. We also saw some cool converted Electric cars like the PT Cruiser. They are not up and running yet, as they just converted their first Cruiser, but when they are it will be about 20,000 to convert.
We also saw the Scion EV....which is only 50,000 to convert....yeah.....
We listened to a handful of speakers including Ed Begley Jr. and then finished the afternoon at the Rialto watching The Eleventh Hour.
I also stopped into a cute boutique and finally got myself a sun hat....I'm way too young to be getting sun spots...so i'm covering up!
Now with my new sun hat and my new EV (within a year)...I'll really feel like a cali girl....i should also learn how to surf....
